I know it may sound like a dumb little mistake, and yes I feel that way, but I hope this helps anyone who may have a similar problem. I then opened Reaper, deleted the VSTi cache and rescanned, restarted Reaper, and there was AD! And yes the resource file in VSTi cache now says:Īddictive_Drums.dll=009B5AC83E4ACB01,2019639620,Ad dictive Drums (XLN Audio) (16 out)!!!VSTi When I ran the Windows Installer, it took way longer than previously and like magic, everything was in the right place. There were two folders with all the data, two install files (for Windows and Mac) and the TXT file warning to extract before installing (which I had). The extracted result was completely different from the previous times when I had not checked that box. This time when I extracted from the ZIP, I checked the box in WinZip that says 'Use Folder Names'. Then download the ZIP file again, extract and install. Tore over at XLN suggested uninstalling everything, deleting the DLL and not to worry about the registry. Device(MD) to VSTHosts please select MegaDRUM Midi Port 2 in VSTHosts.
Then it's back to addictive drums not making any sounds.Well - I got it working and I'll tell you how. To configure and make Addictive Drum(AD), VSTHosts(VH) or the lighter Savihost(SH). That is until I drag a midi beat into the fl instance in the step sequencer.
Ok, so I went into the wrapper settings and clicked "reset plugin" on the info tab. But, if I click any fl button, I will get one drum sound to trigger. If I click any of the drum interface button, no sounds come out. Fl loads in "bridged" which I assume means the vst is a 64 bit one? Addictive loads, but when I go to the "beats" tab to audition midi beats, no sound comes out. My vst folder is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins I had to copy/paste the addictive dll into my custom vst folder, since the xln installer saves the dll's to a steinberg folder. I then did a fresh install of addictive drums. Most people looking for Addictive drums 2 32 bit downloaded: Addictive Drums. I then installed the new fl 11 (32 bit) into the new folder on my new drive. Download addictive drums 2 32 bit Download addictive drums 2 32 bit. To get all my old fl projects to see their audio clips, I copied my old fl 10 folder to my new drive. I recently installed windows 7 (64 bit) on a new drive.
